POLL: WHAT’S CILLIAN MURPHY’S BEST ROLE?

With this week’s release of In Time I wanted to get the Cillian Murphy love going. He’s an actor that came out of almost nowhere and somehow can make any film – no matter how campy – better.

So answer, for me please, the burning question I have in my heart. What’s his best role?

This is my blog. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My blog is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my blog is useless. Without my blog, I am useless. I must fire my blog true. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my blog and myself are defenders of my mind, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.

A film I nearly included in the options but felt it didn't have enough love to force one more movie in a truly bloated list of options. But yes that movie is a lot better than I think most people give it credit for and that's 90% due to Murphy's performance.

I'm going with Robert Fischer in "Inception".  It's a low-key performance but a great one.  Yet, he has a very funny line in that movie.  "Why couldn't we have dreamt in a beach or something?"
