In a week that included a 24 hour work day and me catching up on Homeland I guess this is what I’ve been watching:
FIRST TIME VIEWS
About A Boy (2002) – I have to admit it’s my first viewing, and I love it. It’s one of the few honestly good Hugh Grant films.
The Future (2011) – I’m not sure if I have words to describe it… (in a good way)
The Descendants (2011) – another film where you get to watch everyone cry… and it’s great
Election (1999) – not sure what the big fuss abt the movie is… but it is one of the few to pull off multiple narrators well.
REWATCHED
Watchmen (Director’s Cut) (2009) – Rorschach’s Journal: October 12th, 1985. Tonight, a comedian died in New York.
The Terminator (1984) – You still don’t get it, do you? He’ll find her! That’s what he does! That’s ALL he does! You can’t stop him! He’ll wade through you, reach down her throat and pull her fuckin’ heart out!
Payback (1999) – I think all those stories about you being dead are true. You’re just too thick-headed to admit it.
