WHAT I’VE BEEN WATCHING: JULY 15TH – JULY 21ST

Another week over and as I look back I am reminded of how much I didn’t get done. Things are piling up and I can only hope that it’s going to get better guys. My track of being able to make my “1 Film 1 Day” average for the end of the year is in serious doubt, even though the year is barely 3/4 over. I have time to make it up, but I’m almost feeling like I won’t have time for catch up at one point or another.

Regardless this is what my week in film looked like:

FIRST TIME WATCHED

THE ROBBER (2011) – a boring film with a lot of technical brilliance, but all the filmmaking talent in the world couldn’t make me less sleepy
FRIENDS WITH KIDS (2012) – another romatic comedy which tries to deal with the idea of the separation of sex and love and ends up realizing that it’s hard to separate those things, also not that good to begin with.

REWATCHED

NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN (2007) “if it ain’t it’ll do until the mess gets here”
BREAKING BAD (SEASON 4)  “I won”

THE COUNT

110 First time watches (40 from 2012); 63 Rewatches; 173 Total Films

What’ve You Been Watching?

This is my blog. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My blog is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my blog is useless. Without my blog, I am useless. I must fire my blog true. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my blog and myself are defenders of my mind, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.
