TUMP [EP #343 – THE CHEAP DETECTIVE/SALESMAN]

So how do we put this. It feels like we’re in a new world. Our episodes get more sparse but the length is increasing.

We return with another off brand episode that may just start lengthening our recordings as we really start off disucssing the Disney+/Mulan news and then leading into a couple of films including the 1978 filmĀ The Cheap Detective.

With this episode we begin integrating a feature that we’ve been doing (sporadically) separately. Due to separating it from the main podcast we would go months without recording a new marathon episode. This week we begin looking at the films of the Maysles brothers. We begin with their 1969 work, Salesman, where they follow a group of bible salesman going door to door trying to hustle families into buying overpriced religious literature.

Going forward we will bake these discussions into the main podcast and it should keep us on track to actually have and release the discussions.

This is my blog. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My blog is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my blog is useless. Without my blog, I am useless. I must fire my blog true. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my blog and myself are defenders of my mind, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.
