TIFF 2012: THE STARTING POINT – GALA & SPECIAL PRESENTATIONS ANNOUNCED

For the last three years I’ve been looking forward to heading to Toronto every September in hopes of hitting up TIFF. This year it is officially happening. So with the news of all the Gala and Special Presentations hitting up the official TIFF website has had me buzzing.

Of the announced films so far what has me most interested are: Looper, Everybody Has A Plan, Frances Ha, The Iceman, No, The Place Beyond The Pines, To The Wonder, and The Liar’s Autobiography — The Untrue Story of Monty Python’s Graham Chapman.

It’s early days yet and I still await a lot more announcements before getting close to creating my go to cheat sheet for what I want to see, but here’s some initial thoughts.

I will say though that I am disappointed to not see The Master being mentioned anywhere, but as said above a lot of films to be announced as time goes on… one can hold out hope.

This is my blog. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My blog is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my blog is useless. Without my blog, I am useless. I must fire my blog true. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my blog and myself are defenders of my mind, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.
