PRESTO [REVIEW]

Presto is the new Pixar short that was placed in front of the new feature film Wall-E. In this short a magician is performing his show where he performs a simple trick using a magic (I hate writing summaries).

This was one of the most enjoyable shorts I’ve seen in a while. It reminds me so much of all of those old Bugs Bunny shorts, specifically the one where he is tormenting this Tenor and conducting the show for him. The short is filled with lots of slapstick humour and keeping alive that style of animation that we all used to love. Personally this definitely makes me believe that 2D animation is dead (except for in Japan of course), but the style of story telling and comedy will never die.

This is a great introduction to the Wall-E movie and I can’t wait for Pixar to start making shows with just shorts like this.

IMDB says 9.1/10

Rotten Tomatoes says N/A

I say 10/10

This is my blog. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My blog is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my blog is useless. Without my blog, I am useless. I must fire my blog true. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my blog and myself are defenders of my mind, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.
