POLL RESULTS: BELIEVE IT OR NOT – ALIEN IS RIDLEY SCOTT’S BEST FILM

Last week in the weekly poll I asked What’s Ridley Scott’s Best Film? 24 Votes later it was decided that his 1979 action/sci-fi classic, Alien. Alien received 38% of the votes in the poll with his 1982 classic Blade Runner coming a close second with 29% of the votes.  His 2000 film Gladiator won 4 votes which gave it 17% of the total.  I’m surprised to see that the big Other getting a total of 8%of the votes.  Even though I left Matchstick Men and Thelma and Louise off the poll, because I honestly didn’t think they were that big in comparison to the other films that were on the poll.  Tied for fifth place with a vote each are: Black Hawk Down and Kingdom of Heaven: The Director’s Cut.

So do you agree with the popular vote this week?

This is my blog. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My blog is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my blog is useless. Without my blog, I am useless. I must fire my blog true. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my blog and myself are defenders of my mind, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.
