HELP US TO ENTERTAIN YOU

TUMP Suggesttions Wanted

Greetings to you all, faithful hordes of gmanReviews readers.  You may be wondering why it is not Andrew addressing you in viagra canada this plea.  academic english writing Despite my long hiatus from the site (read: laziness), I do have a couple of things brewing that should be appearing on the site soon; one being another Decaffeination Report and the other being a review (yes, my first serious review) of Objectified.

As you know (or I hope you know), we run a podcast called The Unnamed Movie Podcast (TUMP for short) and, if you didn’t know, you can check out some older TUMP episodes on this very website.  Up to now, we prepared the content for the show without much listener input.  Of course, if you spoke we listened but we haven’t actually set up an official place where you can let us know what you think.  What news do you want to hear our opinion on?  Which trailers should we talk about?

We would like to make the process a bit more open. To move more in that direction, we recently brought back (albeit, in a slightly altered form) our user requested review.  You can now vote for what you want us to review (look to the right, the poll’s right there), and once a month we’ll review the most popular choice.  But I thought we could do better.  So now you’ve got another way to help us to make a better podcast.

I recently got an invite to Google Wave and, since I’ve started to work with it a little bit, I’ve discovered just how much potential it has to enhance online interaction and collaboration.  To that end, I’ve just posted a public wave for TUMP where I hope you can give us ideas for the next podcast on Wednesday night.  As of this writing it is laid out in the form that I originally drafted: some initial comments from me, then a section where you can let us know what news and trailers you’d like to hear Andrew, Damion and myself talk about.

Honestly, I’m not sure where this thing is going to go.  Will it be a success?  Will we do this every week from now on?  Those are questions to be answered later.  I hope that we hear from you and that you feel more a part of what we do on TUMP.  Of course I know Wave is still not public and not everyone has an invite but this is only one effort.  Trust me, if we can we will find a way to include all of you and your comments.  Remember, you can always email us and let us know what you think (unnamed @ our domain name . com).

Note: I linked to the public wave for TUMP in the article.  I hope this link works.  Today marks my first day with an account and I can have easily made a mistake.  If the link doesn’t work for you let me know in the comments.  I’ll try my best to fix it.  If I can’t thanks to my newb status, search for it and hopefully you can find it.
