WHAT I’VE BEEN WATCHING: FEB 5TH – FEB 11TH

After finally finishing my rewatching of SCRUBS, a show which I’ve decided is my favourite sitcom that I’ve been alive for its complete run, I’ve gotten back to watching as many films as possible in the week. Catching up on some 2011 films I’ve missed out on as well as my first 2012 film of the year. So check out my tally below:

FIRS TIME VIEWINGS

A DANGEROUS METHOD (2011) – so you’re either going to laugh at Keira Knightly for the entire movie, or love it… I kind of dug it.
WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT KEVIN (2011) – not many movies come to mind when the term “fucked up” is thrown about. This will be one of them.
CONTRABAND (2012) – first 2012 film & it was what it was. Mediocre but servicable. disappointed didn’t see them put the tape on their heads.
TAKE SHELTER (2011) – liked a lot about it, but it’s how I end up feeling about films which feel like a stage for an actor and nothing else.
THE RUM DIARY (2011) – what an unimpressive horrendously put together film. I almost prefer to think of it as a series of unrelated shorts.

REWATCHED

SCRUBS (SEASON 9)“I’m going to give you a pass because you have murder eyes.”
GHOSTBUSTERS (1984) “Let’s show this prehistoric bitch how we do things downtown.”

THE COUNT

19 First time watches (1 from 2012); 14 Rewatches; 33 Total Films

This is my blog. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My blog is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my blog is useless. Without my blog, I am useless. I must fire my blog true. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my blog and myself are defenders of my mind, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.
