The Rules:
- Each participant will select 25 films over the course of the year. At the beginning of the year (during the initial draft) each participant must select 16 films for their “main team” and 5 (in order) substitutes. The remaining 4 will be selected within two windows (the final week of April and the final week of August).
- Upon the initial 16 films selected each participant must select at least one film being released in each month of the year.
- Each player is given points from the calculation of (Average Rating/4) * US Domestic Gross (1/1/14 – 7/1/15). If a participant doesn’t watch the film they are attributed with 0 points. A player cannot rate a film as a fraction or give a film a 0. All averages are rounded down below 2/3.
- A player will be penalized 1/4 of the US Domestic Box Office Gross if they do not watch 80% of the films in their team.
- A substitute (in order of priority) will overtake any film that is either pushed out of the year’s release schedule or a film was unable to be viewed (within reason).
- During the additional selections (April/August) we will draft we will draft in the order from the lowest pointed participant as counted as of that date
