Shortly after Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) revealed himself to the world that he is in fact the mechanized superhero, Iron Man, he has started to get into more and more trouble as he’s put in the spotlight.  The U.S. Government is hounding him to hand over the suit to them so that they can control the use of the technology.  Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell), an industry competitor, is trying to do his best to discover the secret to the Stark technology so he can create his own.  Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke) is the son of the man who helped Howard Stark (John Slattery) create the arc reactor technology, that powers the Iron Man suit, is seeking revenge against the Stark name for what they did to his family.  So Mr. Stark has a lot going for him thesedays.
