Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis) is one week away from beginning to shoot his latest film Italia, the only problem is that he hasn’t written the script yet.  He’s being harassed by the press, his producer, his costume designer and even his star actress, Claudia (Nicole Kidman) for this script that he has no clue what it’s going to be about.  We follow Guido as he searches his life and looks back at all the women that influenced him into being who he is today as he tries to figure out exactly what he’s going to do about this film. Rob Marshall, the director of Memoirs of a Geisha and Chicago, is apparently being approached to direct the fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.  It was reported last week that Disney is planning to start shooting the sequel next year with hopes of releasing the film in 2011.  (more…)
