After finally becoming a father Mr. Fox [George Clooney] decides to do the responsible thing and leave his life of farm thieving. However, after some years he decides to move into a new tree, which happens to be nearby Boggis [Robin Hurlstone], Bunce [Hugo Guinness] and Bean [Michael Gambon] who are some of the biggest and meanest farmers ever to exist and they don’t take kindly to their new neighbour. Hayoa Miayazaki’s latest film, Ponyo on the Cliff, has already set domestic records in Japan and gained high praise from most critics. I’m a huge fan of Miayazaki’s work, he’s yet to make a bad movie as far as I’m concerned and this looks no less than magical. (more…)

Presto is the new Pixar short that was placed in front of the new feature film Wall-E. In this short a magician is performing his show where he performs a simple trick using a magic (I hate writing summaries).

In the distant future the world becomes too polluted to maintain life. So all of the humans are shipped off into space while we leave robots to clean up our mess. After years have passed all those robots have shut down, excepting one little Wall-E (Ben Burtt) robot. The most interesting thing about this robot is it is interested, and grown a personality. One day while he is out doing his work a spaceship lands to drop off Eve (Elissa Knight). Wall-E immediately falls in love. The film follows the love story as Wall-E chases Eve around and tries to make a connection.

Po(Jack Black) is a Panda who dreams to become a kung fu warrior, and fight alongside the Furious Five. In the mountain where the Furious Five train the time has come for the all knowing Master Oogway(Randall Duk Kim) to choose who is to become the legendary Dragon Warrior and will keep the valley safe from all dangers, including the dark former student Tai Lung(Ian McShane). Po rushes to get a glimpse of his favourite kung fu masters (the Furious Five) when he is mysteriously choosen, by what seems accident, to be the Dragon Warrior. He is to be trained by Master Shifu(Dustin Hoffman) in order to become this figure, and so the journey begins.
