Now I’m not your typical Joss Whedon fan. I hadn’t ever seen anything from him before this year. Someone pointed me towards the internet sensation that was Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog and like Dorothy I followed the yellow brick road of Whedon properties to find the great wizard that I enjoy and decides to grant me my wishes of what I want to see (most of the time at least). I spent a period of almost three months watching and catching up on Buffy the Vampire Slayer which I fell in love with. I loved the story of a girl having to deal with the supernatural and at the same time balance teen life and maturing over the years. Now I definitely don’t want to go and call it the best thing I’ve ever seen on TV (I leave those comments for things like The Wire) but I enjoyed it and would still recommend it to people to go and try out for themselves. Addicted to the Tube has returned. I know it has been a long while since I blogged but since the people in charge of gmanReviews are having problems sending my paycheck I had to find myself a job, which kept me very busy. It is the time of year when we get ready for season returns. I plan to do as many reviews as possible. The first on my list is the Showtime hit, Dexter. Season 4 of Dexter is scheduled to air September 27th. (more…)

So for all of you out there reading this, I usually don’t do TV reviews but I loved this show so much last year I thought I’d take this opportunity to do episode to episode reviews for this show. At this point I’m not sure if I will be doing this for other TV shows out there, but let’s see how this goes and then we’ll worry about that later. Also, let it be known that these reviews will contain spoilers for the episodes and episodes that came before, so consider yourself warned and don’t come crying to me when you read spoilers. I WARNED YOU! (more…)

So this is my first article for the imperial gmanReviews site. I will be constantly reviewing TV shows of all kinds, some have been canceled some are still on the air, in any case I will be ranting and raving about TV shows because I am just addicted to the darn tube.
For my first article I will review the first season of The Sopranos created by David Chase. I will review each show one season at a time and do them randomly. Also I will apologize that though I can avoid spoilers for the first season of most shows, it may become difficult to prevent spoilers for following seasons. (more…)
