This is possibly the best trailer that’s hit this week.  George Clooney stars in this new film about soldiers with mind powers.  What makes this trailer awesome is the obvious, you have Kevin Spacey, George Clooney and Jeff Bridges all using their minds to do stuff that only George Lucas thought of.  Here take a look at the trailer below: (more…)

A new Michael Cera movie will be hitting us soon.   I know, you’re tired of the same old joke of Michael Cera acting as awkward as possible and somehow he gets the girl in the end.  Well I’m here to tell you that this trailer kicks ass for all sorts of reasons including that Michael Cera serves up some confidence here.  Check out the trailer below: (more…)

James Cameron’s Avatar and Benecio Del Toro as the Wolfman both got trailers this week.  These are two films that have been in development for the longest while and I can’t wait to see both.  Unfortunately I live in Jamaica, so I wasn’t able to catch the Avatar Day fun that most people saw across the world where they were treated to 15 minutes of the film for free!!! The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is the film that was being filmed when Heath Ledger died.  The film is directed by Terry Gilliam, the filmmaker that all studios dread to work with.  When Ledger died with the movie still incomplete, Gilliam decided to finish the film with Colin Farrel, Jude Law and Johnny Depp filling the gap that Ledger left open.  This is definitely one of my highest anticipated films of whenever, since I’m still not sure when I’ll get to see it. Hayoa Miayazaki’s latest film, Ponyo on the Cliff, has already set domestic records in Japan and gained high praise from most critics.  I’m a huge fan of Miayazaki’s work, he’s yet to make a bad movie as far as I’m concerned and this looks no less than magical. (more…)

The trailer for the newest Coen Brothers film has hit the net and it does something that I can’t tell is amazing or not.  The trailer is great but I have no clue what to expect of the film other than it will be dark and funny, i.e. a Coen Brothers movie. (more…)
