Because I know I never have the right answer, as I’m constantly reminded by my friends and co-hosts, I took to the internet today with my question of who is your favourite actor/character to appear in Wes Anderson’s films. Here’s what I got in return:
Yesterday I picked up my latest Blu Ray acquisition – Inception & Being John Malkovich – which I only realized after opening the box that this would make a fantastically twisted crazed mind control double feature. This sent me to twitter asking people for their own double feature suggestions, here’s what I got in return:
I have a certain idea about movie watching. I watch a lot of films, a lot end up being horrendous to mediocre, but I don’t think it fair to criticize a film unless I actually finish watching it in its entirity. So when the odd film comes along that I just can’t manage to courage to reach the credits with I applaud it for, what I call, winning the game. It’s own brand of stupid or insane (whichever reason) was too much for my persistence.
The latest film to accomplish this title was Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie. I only got 15 minutes in before I had to give up.
So with this in mind I took to twitter searching for answers as to which movies you just couldn’t get to the end with.
With Joss Whedon‘s Avengers being released in theatres this weekend I wanted to ask you all on twitter which filmmakers, who’ve yet to work in the Marvel cannon, do you think would be interesting to see work with a Marvel property?
Earlier last week I went to twitter asking any and all what their favourite documentary was. While I’ve yet to see some of the best out there I can tell that I’ve been given a to see list by these responses.
And my favourite documentary is a tie between Dear Zachary, Senna and Man on Wire…
