John FordThere seemed to be a lot of response to my marathon of John Cassavetes recently so here I am at it again filling in some more cinematic blind spots with another great American filmmaker. This marathon though, unlike the Cassavetes, will not be as comprehensive and I can start knowing I’ve already watched a few of his films, namely: The Searchers and Stagecoach. So obviously those films will not be discussed in this marathon.

This marathon will include:

Fort Apache (1948)

The Grapes of Wrath (1940)

Judge Priest (1934)

How Green Was My Valley (1941)

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962)

This is my blog. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My blog is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my blog is useless. Without my blog, I am useless. I must fire my blog true. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my blog and myself are defenders of my mind, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.
