21 COUNTING MORE THAN JUST CARDS

Over the weekend passed “21” took the box office for an expected win. The hype that this movie received a good amount of hype and no matter how amazing “Horton Hears a Who!” is it just can’t last top of the box office making more than US$20 million a weekend for more than two weeks. However, the big surprise for me has to be Superhero Movie taking third place at the box office making US$9.5 million from just under 3000 theatres. And Drillbit Taylor clings in the top 5 with a 45% drop in weekend revenue and a one spot drop in rankings for the money makings over the weekend.

Anyways, overall I guess everything went as expected money wise over the weekend. The only thing I may have wanted different would be for Run Fatboy Run to contend for a top 5 spot. However, with Simon Pegg’s new movie only getting approximately half the amount of theatres to play in that any of the top five are earning revenue from it is just a pipedream. Here are the final standings for the weekend of Mar 28-30.

    1. 21

$24,105,943

    2. Dr. Suess’ Horton Hears a Who!

$17,740,106

    3. Superhero Movie

$ 9,510,297

    4. Tyler Perry’s Meet The Browns

$ 7,481,508

    5. Drillbit Taylor

$ 5,713,585

This is my blog. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My blog is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my blog is useless. Without my blog, I am useless. I must fire my blog true. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my blog and myself are defenders of my mind, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.
