“Green Lantern” Teaches Us Not To Play Fair

We’ve already seen a lot of TV Spots, a horrendous first trailer and a really long awesome trailer. Somehow WB believes we need more, so here’s the final theatrical trailer for Green Lantern.
Synopsis: A test pilot is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe.
I want this movie to be good, but I just refuse to believe it’s going to be. I want the movie to be better than all the other superhero films coming out this summer (not counting X-Men:First Class), but I just don’t see it happening. Gradually my excitement has moved from non existent to mediocre at best with every trailer and piece of footage that’s been released. This trailer doesn’t shift my excitement in any bit, but it does make me worry some more.
What do you think of the trailer?
