This past weekend everyone in San Diego was enjoying themselves at this year’s Comic Con.  So a lot of new trailers and teasers were released.  The first trailer for Zack Snyder‘s (300 and Watchmen) newest film Sucker Punch was released.  Check it out below:

The film stars: Jon Hamm, Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Carla Gugino, Jena Malone and Abbie Cornish.  The film is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, but her incredible adventures blur the lines between what’s real and what is imaginary…with potentially tragic consequences.

I must say that this may be the most mediocre trailer I’ve ever seen from Snyder.  I remember being blown away by 300, Watchmen and even the trailer for another of his latest films The Guardians of Gahoole – a movie that I’m not even interested in seeing.  This trailer however struck me as overly stylized and computer-generated.  It may just be that it’s a short trailer and it’s not showing all of its cards, but I’m just unimpressed.
