George Tillman Jr. (also directed Notorious (2009) and Men of Honor) is here to give us a revenge story starring Dwayne Johnson.  He’s just gotten out of jail and he wants to avenge the death of his brother after a heist they did together years back went wrong.  Check out the teaser trailer below:

This teaser looks kind of brilliant.  The use of music and telling me that The Rock has finally come back to doing action movies is enough for me to pay for the ticket of entry to this movie.  The film stars Dwayne Johnson (Be Cool) and Billy Bob Thorton (Bad Santa).

I can tell you from now that I know that I could be wrong, this movie could turn out to be a complete dud.  I fret when I see things like at the very end of the trailer where Johnson says “sermon’s over“.  It just sounds like it just will refuse to be as kick ass as films like Taken.  However, at the same time I’m willing to see it to be proven wrong, which means the trailer has done its job.  The film will be released in the US on November 24th, 2010.
