Here’s the new post where I share with you some of my favourite scenes from some of my favourite movies.  Enjoy:

This week I want to feature the scene in Quentin Tarantino‘s Death Proof where Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) talks Butterfly (Vanessa Ferlito) into giving him a lapdance.  Earlier in the film it’s explained that Jungle Julia (Sydney Poitier) promised on the radio to the entire of Austin, Texas that her friend Butterfly would give the first man who recited a specific poem and bought her a drink a lapdance.  Even though Butterfly was hesitant eventually the charismatic Mike eventually gets Arlene to dance for him.  I love this scene not only because there’s a hot lady giving a lapdance but because Kurt Russell rocks in this role.  I love it especially when he breaks into his John Wayne impersonation.  I still don’t know for sure if it’s Kurt Russell doing the impersonation himself or Taratino superimposed the voice into the film, but I prefer to think the later until proven wrong.  What the scene below:
