1001 FILMS: PSYCHO (1960)

I’ve been going on a bit of a Hitchcock binge as of recent. In addition to this I’ve started writing for Anomalous Material. So go and check out my full review of this movie there.

Here’s an excerpt from my review:

I find it wonderful that in almost every scene that Hitchcock, even when some human action may be deemed as important in conventional film-making, feels it necessary to initially seemingly random objects that we come to realize are the important objects at hand with the crime or action taking place

This is my blog. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My blog is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my blog is useless. Without my blog, I am useless. I must fire my blog true. I will. Before God I swear this creed: my blog and myself are defenders of my mind, we are the masters of our enemy, we are the saviors of my life. So be it, until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.

Great review, I kinda cut my teeth in the 60's on Hitchcock, along with Leone, Lean, Wise and folks that gave us Bond, I applaud you in your viewing of the Hitchcock cannon, it's also nice to know that some of you young folks are watching him. How do you think Hitchcock will be viewed 20 years from now? It's probably impossible to answer that. But thanks for your great post on Alfred.

Recently I was really, really low on money and debts were eating me from all sides! That was UNTIL I decided to make money on the internet! I went to surveymoneymaker dot net, and started filling in surveys for cash, and surely I've been far more able to pay my bills! I'm so glad, I did this! With all the financial stress these years, I really hope all of you will give it a chance. – pau7
